Deleting your account

Account → Danger requests erasure of your Loha user account. This is your right under PDPA section 33 and GDPR Article 17.

Deleting your account is not the same as deleting a workspace. See Workspace settings and lifecycle for that.

The cooling-off period

Deletion is not immediate. Requesting it opens a 14-day cooling-off window, after which the request is executed and becomes irreversible.

You can cancel at any point inside that window from the same page. The window exists precisely so that a deletion made in anger, or by someone who got hold of your session, can be undone.

You'll be asked to confirm your identity before the request is accepted.

Before you request it

If you own a workspace, deal with it first. Deleting your user account does not delete workspaces you own, and it does not transfer them. Decide whether each workspace should be deleted or handed to someone else, and do that before you start the clock on your own account.

Also worth doing first:

What is kept

Records that exist for other people's benefit or for legal obligation are not erased with your account. Audit entries attributing an action to you remain, because a workspace's audit trail has to stay intact for its remaining members. See Audit log.
